Marathon and Rhamnus half day tour
We will drive from Athens along with the several modern Greek villages. Marathon is exactly 42,195 klm (26 miles) from the Panathenaic stadium.  In every Olympic games is the last event in memory of the Athenian Greek soldier Pheidipides, a Greek messenger who at the end of Marathon Battle (490 BC) run from the battlefield back to Athens to announce Victory (NIKE)  before he died, against the Persian empire army. You will visit the local archaeological museum, the tomb of Marathon and the new race museum and then we will drive to the ancient Rhamnus. where you visit the temple of Nemesis, the goddess of divine retribution and the small temple of Themis, the goddess of justice (5th Century BC) and some remains of the local fortress and the local ancient theater. From up there you will have a magnificent panoramic view of the area.
